El 13 de agosto, el Coordinador de Vinculación con el Medio de la Universidad de
Magallanes, Alfredo Soto, visitó el Colegio Guillermo Zañartu para presentar la
iniciativa “Itinerancia Antártica”.
La actividad se realizó por medio del “Sello Antártico”, con el fin de permitir que el
desarrollo de la educación Antártica sea parte de las aulas, incorporando los
conocimientos y la cultura en los estudiantes.
La instancia contempló la presentación de la hazaña del Piloto Pardo y la Charla
Antártica, encabezada por Alfredo Soto para los quintos años básicos. Además, se
expusieron trabajos de varios niveles educativos en el patio de la escuela y se
realizó una reunión con el cuerpo directivo.
