Ñuñoa inicia mesa de trabajo para promover el «buen trato» en establecimientos de salud

En julio se creó la “Mesa de Trabajo del Buen Trato” en los establecimientos de salud de Ñuñoa. Esta iniciativa se enmarca dentro de una amplia política de promoción de relaciones sociales basadas en la dignidad, el respeto y los derechos de todas las personas.

La creación de esta mesa de trabajo está alineada con el Artículo 1 de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos, que establece que «Todos los seres humanos nacen libres e iguales en dignidad y derechos». Asimismo, se fundamenta en la Ley 21.188, que protege a los funcionarios de salud, y la Ley 20.584, que establece los derechos y deberes de los usuarios de salud.

El objetivo principal de esta política, es promover una cultura de respeto, empatía y calidad en la atención, centrada en el bienestar de la comunidad de la Atención Primaria de Salud (APS). Para ello, se busca desarrollar un lenguaje común y protocolos de acción que reconozcan y prevengan la violencia institucional hacia usuarios y funcionarios. Las áreas de enfoque incluyen: prevención, acogida, denuncia, acoso, abuso, discriminación, investigación y sanción del maltrato. De este modo, se pretende no solo mejorar la calidad de atención y fortalecer a los equipos de salud, sino también, construir un entorno comunitario basado en valores de no violencia.

En esta mesa participaron representantes de la comunidad, funcionarios, equipos directivos encargados de OIRS y Participación, la encargada de Bienestar y el Referente Comunal de Trato al Usuario.

Entre las actividades planificadas se incluyen la creación de un “decálogo de principios del buen trato”, la actualización de protocolos y la elaboración de material gráfico y audiovisual para difundir la campaña.
