Liceo República de Argentina es reconocido con sello Bicentenario por el Ministerio de Educación

El 11 de octubre, el Ministerio de Educación anunció a los 80 establecimientos
educacionales del país que se incorporan al programa de Liceos Bicentenarios.
Entre ellos, se seleccionó al Liceo Técnico Profesional República Argentina,
siendo de educación municipal y el único elegido de Ñuñoa.
Para esta convocatoria, se revisaron 155 proyectos de establecimientos
educacionales, que consideraban iniciativas para el fortalecimiento educativo y el
mejoramiento de infraestructura, equipamiento y/o mobiliario. La selección de los
recintos se enmarca en el Plan de Reactivación Educativa, enfatizando en
fortalecer la educación media a través de los aspectos centrales de la excelencia:
la innovación educativa, la inclusión, el trabajo colaborativo y la integralidad de los
aprendizajes.
El Liceo República de Argentina se suma a los 57 establecimientos educacionales
de modalidad técnico profesional seleccionados. La obtención del sello
Bicentenario beneficiará durante ocho años a los 661 estudiantes del recinto,
posibilitando mejoras en las cuatro carreras que ofrece: electricidad, gráfica,
servicios de turismo y administración (mención recursos humanos y mención
logística).
Por su lado, el establecimiento presentó un proyecto enfocado en asegurar las
condiciones para el desarrollo de los aprendizajes, fortificando no solo la
infraestructura y equipamiento, sino también las prácticas pedagógicas del cuerpo
docente a través de la retroalimentación y trabajo colaborativo. Gracias a la
selección en el programa Liceos Bicentenario, se le transferirán al recinto los
recursos para ejecutar su plan de fortalecimiento.
“El Liceo República Argentina ha sido reconocido como un Liceo
Bicentenario, esto debido al compromiso de su equipo directivo y sus
profesores y profesoras con un proyecto desafiante de altas expectativas y
con foco en la sala de clases. De esta manera, avanza hacia la educación del
siglo 21 que sus estudiantes hoy ya reciben, pero que sabemos que puede
mejorar cada día”, afirmó la alcaldesa Emilia Ríos, tras anunciar la incorporación
del recinto a la red de establecimientos Bicentenario.
El programa “Liceos Bicentenario” busca comprometer a los establecimientos
educacionales con la calidad de la educación. Por ello, se apoya a los recintos

para que alcancen esos estándares, de manera que ellos logren mejoras
significativas para enfrentarse al futuro.
