Martes 1 de agosto
Este martes 1 de agosto se realizó la ceremonia de cambio de nombre del colegio Anexo Brígida Walker a Kallfü Mapu, “tierra azul” en mapudungun.
En la jornada, la comunidad educativa realizó diferentes presentaciones artísticas, se llevó a cabo la plantación de un canelo, árbol simbólico para la cultura mapuche, y se presentó el nuevo letrero de acceso.
El cambio de nombre e insignia se trabajó con todos los estamentos de la comunidad y la elección fue por medio de un concurso donde participaron profesores, estudiantes y familias.
Además, en la oportunidad se presentó al equipo de asistencia y revinculación educativa. Este programa es parte de una estrategia del Ministerio de Educación que busca que los niños y niñas vuelvan al colegio tras los efectos del cierre prolongado de los establecimientos debido a la pandemia por COVID-19.
Celebramos este importante acontecimiento junto a la alcaldesa Emilia Ríos y la concejala Mireya del Río, equipos docentes y toda la comunidad educativa.
