Este 10 de agosto la visita de la alcaldesa Emilia Ríos en el Colegio República de
Francia, vino acompañada de la noticia de una nueva operación de vacunación
para niños, niñas y adolescentes de la comuna.
La “Campaña de Vacunación Escolar”, que se realizará durante agosto y
septiembre, se encuentra enfocada para los primeros, cuartos, quintos y octavos
años básicos. La instancia contempla las vacunas para el papiloma humano,
difteria, tétano y tos convulsiva.
Se estima que, en total, más de 9.400 jóvenes tendrán sus vacunas. La finalidad
de esta campaña es proteger a la población en etapa escolar de Chile, según
calendario de vacunación vigente, frente a enfermedades inmunoprevenibles,
relevantes para la salud pública del país.
Junto a la alcaldesa, asistieron también los equipos de salud de los Cesfam de la
comuna, el Secretario General, el director de Salud y subdirector de Educación de
la CMDS.
