El miércoles 24 de mayo se llevó a cabo el segundo ciclo de la competencia Spelling Bee 2023, concurso de deletreo en inglés intercomunal, donde el Colegio Benjamín Claro Velasco fue sede y ganador de esta versión.
En la competencia organizada por la red de profesores de inglés de Ñuñoa, participaron alumnos y alumnas de 3° básico a 8° básico de establecimientos educacionales de Ñuñoa, La Florida, Peñalolén, Providencia, Pudahuel, La Reina y Santiago como el Colegio San Lucas, Rosario Concha, Liceo Politécnico Pedro de Valdivia, Corporación Educacional Tecnológica de Chile, Manquecura CDLV, John John High School, Colegio Santa Victoria además de nuestros establecimientos José Toribio Medina., Liceo Lenka Franulic y el anfitrión.
Cabe indicar que en la oportunidad recibieron medallas los primeros 3 lugares además el colegio ganador se quedó con la copa Spelling Bee, que en este caso correspondió al Benjamín Claro Velasco, quien además obtuvo un total de 5 medallas, quedándose con el 1° lugar en 3° básico Ana Colina; en 4° Básico Helen González y en 7° Básico, Ignacio de la Vega. Además, de los terceros lugares en tercero básico para Vittoria Orlandi, y en 5° básico Sebastián Rodríguez.
Por último, cabe precisar que durante abril se desarrolló la competencia de 3° a 5° básico en el colegio Rosario Concha de nuestra comuna en tanto, ahora se terminó el ciclo de enseñanza básica, oportunidad donde los pequeños del pre kínder del colegio realizaron un baile artístico para dar inicio a la actividad.
