Programa MÁS participa de la “VI versión de Camina60+ Tu Salud es tu meta”

En el marco del Día Internacional de las Personas Mayores, el domingo 1 de
octubre, vecinas y vecinos de la comuna participaron de la “VI versión de
Camina60+ Tu Salud es tu meta”. La actividad fue organizada en conjunto con el
programa de Adulto Mayor UC y DAE-Deportes.
Realizada en dependencias de la Universidad Católica de San Joaquín, la
iniciativa buscaba ser una instancia para que los adultos mayores sean los
protagonistas, participando activamente y relacionándose con sus pares y en torno
del campus. La caminata se ejecutó en dos distancias, 3 y 5 kilómetros, e
involucró no solo llevar a cabo actividad física al aire libre, sino también promover
la vida sana.
En esta oportunidad, la CMDS, a través de su Dirección de Salud, se une a esta
actividad con las agrupaciones que son parte del Programa Más Adulto Mayores
Autovalentes, para apoyar a la comunidad en sus ganas por mantenerse activos.
“MÁS Adultos Mayores Autovalentes”, es un programa que busca fomentar la
buena salud y autocuidado de este grupo etario desde la atención primaria,
colaborando en la continuación de su autonomía. Durante el año 2023, a través de
los talleres de estimulación cognitiva y física, se han visto beneficiados
aproximadamente 600 personas mayores en distintas ubicaciones de Ñuñoa.
